About

Arizona Chapter National Safety Council (ACNSC), founded in 1949 and based in Phoenix, AZ, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and the Arizona chapter of the National Safety Council. It delivers instructor-led and online training in First Aid/CPR/AED, defensive driving, workplace safety, work zone safety, and topics such as distracted and impaired driving. Employers and individuals use ACNSC for accredited courses, instructor certifications, safety training materials, and a structured training calendar.

ACNSC provides consulting services tailored to company needs and offers membership with access to National Safety Council resources and support. It advances driver improvement through its Defensive Driving Program (including ticket dismissal options) and administration of Traffic Survival School. The chapter also facilitates meeting room rentals, speaker requests, and hosts regional events such as the Southwest Safety Conference.

Serving Arizona and the broader Southwest, with additional locations in Las Vegas and New Mexico, ACNSC helps organizations build and sustain effective safety cultures at work, at home, and on the road. As Arizona’s only National Safety Council chapter, it aligns local needs with nationally proven programs to reduce injuries and save lives.
