My experience working with Penny was one of the most holistic golf coaching experiences I ever had at any time in my golf career. Her understanding of the body's biomechanics combined with her knowledge from her own playing experience on the LPGA for 20 years provided me with a coaching experience I could not have received from anyone else. In addition, the open focus training and neurofeedback work I did with her introduced me to a new and effective way to approach the mental side of golf that was very refreshing and it helped to reinvigorate my love of the game.

I found the putting class helpful in addressing the putt. It was helpful in finding the zone to feel the space between you and the hole. Thanks again and I hope you have more classes in other aspects.

Hi Penny Just a note to thank you for the putting lessons. I have been able to take these skills to the course with me. I have more confidence in my stoke and can feel my putting improving. Thanks again.

since my instruction on set up and swing with my driver I have been in the fairway or so close it didn't matter. And the damn thing goes straight 90% on the time. Golf has become more fun!!

How did you get started teaching?

When I finished playing on the LPGA tour I began to teach and then I realized that I needed to learn how to teach... Big difference from being a player to being a teacher.

A tour player turned teacher shared that when you are a player it's all about you. When you are coach it's all about the student. So true..

What types of students have you worked with?

Tour players, new golfers, and golfers that want to improve their game.

Taught golf at the girls juvenile detention prison for anger management training.

Developed junior golf programs for kids with autism, downs, and other issues. Developed and ran Girl Scout golf camps for 5 years.

Developed women's biz golf.

I use golf in many ways to coach you to have a consistent swing, emotional management, personal motivation, focus, goal setting.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Watched my senior student win their first tournament. That was an amazing accomplishment.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Take a few minutes before you go to a coach and write down why you want a coach to help you.

When you interview the coach, see if you feel comfy and that you can be yourself and flow with them.

Check out their website and do your research.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Whatever is the 'hottest' problem that is driving you crazy.
