About
I feel that having a bond with the student really helps. I never leave a new student without help or answering questions she or he may have. I start at the begining and draw and paint right along with the student. I point certain things out that they need to change or redo. Patience is most valuable to a child when trying to learn a subject. When the student is done we talk about the subject and was it easy or hard for what did he like he or she.
I love to paint. I paint everyday. The stress factor can build up in your system and you can become depressed. If when this feeling comes along I most of the time pick up a brush and starting

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Working with a new student is my priority to make them feel comfortable with what subject we will be working on. I introduce my procedures of supplies we will be working with. I stay side by side through the lesson. With the student not knowing what is going on I explain to them what we are going to do to learn about the subject. 1 we draw the subject with me drawing with the student. 2. when finished I explain the process and colors for them to use the medium right. I have a lot of patience which I fill is an essential step towards the success of the student enjoying art.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started drawing horses at the age of eight. Through the years I have taken many seminars and have been in many art shows through the country. I have taken private lessons for several years with the same art teacher. I belong to several art clubs, and I love to teach children and new beginners, of course, I love working with the intermediate also. Art to me is a love and passion. I paint every day, and I am always learning new art ideas to share with others that are interested in learning the art. I work with acrylic, oil, oil pastel, pencil, charcoal, watercolor, pop art, alcohol ink, acrylic dirty pour and more. I would love to answer any of your questions that you might have.
