About this pro

Check me out online @AJBALL4ALL!!!!

I actually try to get to know who you are! (That is super important).. I pay attention to the details of your footwork, form, and every other element of your game because I absolutely want to see you improve fast! It takes one session to open your eyes to the path we would be on together!

BASKETBALL TRAINING IS MY PASSION!

I have a love for guiding and mentoring people through the game of basketball. The mentorship that comes with my training is arguably the greatest thing you can receive from me. The patience you will learn or develop in the gym is something that will naturally carry over to life.

We would highly recommend Adrian Jackson (BALL4ALL) for anyone interested in taking his/her basketball game to the next level. Our son, Jack started training with AJ last year and we have been beyond impressed with the improvements he has made since he started with him. AJ has helped Jack with all key aspects of his game including ball handling, shooting, basketball IQ and quick decision making, but most importantly his confidence. AJ’s strength as a trainer is his ability to individualize his trainings based on each players strengths and weaknesses. He has the unique ability to challenge his clients while also encouraging them to be better basketball players. Besides being a great trainer, AJ is an amazing guy who has a real passion for helping his clients be better in basketball and in life! His communication both with his clients and parents is top notch. AJ’s training program has given Jack the skills to take his basketball game to the next level and for that we are very grateful!

From the moment our son started training with AJ his confidence returned. AJ has a way of connecting with the athletes he is training, he motivates them to do well, and teaches them to push themselves. Our son looks forward to training with AJ every week.

My son has learned so much from Coach AJ that has really improved all aspects of his game. AJ has a love for basketball that is now paralleled in my son. He eats, sleeps and dreams basketball thanks to BALL4ALL!

Genuinely cared about his players. AJ knows how/when to push and when to pull back and encourage. Highly recommend!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Don't be surprised to get a text from me asking questions about your game even before we meet. Everyone needs a basketball skills trainer that can help bring out 1000% of your potential. That is what I strive to do.

Process:

Every clients first session is a SKILL ASSESSMENT combined with basketball SKILL DEVELOPMENT & IQ.

The first session, along with each session after, will be recorded for my program, "BALL4ALL SECOND LOOK"... the program gives each client 1) access to raw video recording of training session plus 2) edited video analysis by Coach AJ ( emailed a day after every session)

After the first session I finally prepare the perfect training plan for me and the client in order to accomplish his or her goals.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been training basketball players since 2004:

Upward at the Dale- Detroit, MI, (03/2004 - 06/2011)
Upward Basketball Coach/Mentor
Upward is a volunteer program that I have been a part of in the Detroit, Michigan community for a long time. Upward Basketball helps the development of basketball in youth. I've coached the fundamentals of basketball to hundreds and HUNDREDS of youth from the ages of 6 to 13 in my years with Upward.

Circle Y Ranch- Bangor, MI (06/2008 – 08/2009)
Summer Basketball Class Instructor
I taught the basic fundamentals of basketball to kids ages 7 to 17 in my introduction to summer basketball camps. I was able to stress the fundamentals of a correct shooting form (B.E.E.F.), improve the children’s passing technique and also help them understand proper ball handling.

Sean Miller Basketball Camp- Tucson, AZ, (06/2011 and 06/2012)
Summer basketball Coach/Trainer
I was given the opportunity to work as a ball-handling instructor and volunteer coach with the University of Arizona basketball program. I help taught the game of basketball to kids ranging from 1st grade to 8th grade. I was able to teach the importance of team chemistry, and also was given the chance to run my own ball-handling session in which I demonstrated effective drills to improve their dribbling (as one of my advanced talents).

Desert Christian Middle School - Tucson, AZ (2015)
Head Basketball Coach
I became the head basketball coach for Desert Christian Middle School as my first official coaching job. Coached the boy's A team to a championship in the preseason.

BALL4ALL™ Training (est. 2013)
Head basketball trainer/skill developer
Established BALL4ALL™ basketball training in 2013 and went full force in late 2015. I work with youth of all ages and college aged athletes that are either developing their game or in need to stay at an elite level through basketball training.

PickUp USA Fitness (August 2017)
Assistant manager/ Basketball trainer
Work with youth from age 6 through 18, college age athletes and professionals developing their game of basketball through physical conditioning and fundamental knowledge. I run basketball group classes(boot camps) filled with in-game drills and scenarios as well as private 1-on-1 training with individuals that want to take their game to the next level within months.

AZ Compass Prep (2019-2020 season)

Basketball Player Development/Coach

Facilitate team basketball drills, 1-on-1 training, and assist Head coach in gameplans. Worked with each Junior Varisty, Varsity, and National team player in groups and as individuals throughout the season.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

HAVE SET BASKETBALL GOALS! Try out a session with a trainer to see if you like them (VERY IMPORTANT)
