Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We discuss the student's flying goals and pair he/she with the instructor we feel would best suit them. We discuss with the student what they can expect throughout the process of attaining their flying goals. We look at our role as a partnership with the student, as the student-instructor relationship is important and can be quite lengthy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our Instructors are all CFI and CFII certified and very experienced pilots.
How did you get started teaching?
We found there are glaring differences among flight schools. We decided that we can provide great value through our experiences at various flight schools to students.
What types of students have you worked with?
Career pilots and recreational pilots
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone you get along with. You will be spending a lot of time on the ground and in the small confines of an airplane cockpit with your Instructor. If your instructor is high strung, this will bring a heightened level of anxiety into the cockpit - a place that can already be stressful for new pilots.
