I’ve been a drawing and painting instructor since 2008. I have innate abilities along with professional training with Mission Renaissance fine art studios in Southern California. With the Larry Gluck method, I am able to teach anyone without experience how to paint and draw realistic images. I have four grown children myself who were all taught by myself when they were between the ages of 8, 9,9 (twins), 10 years old respectively. I am patient, nurturing and have a passion to teach in a manner that’s fun and uplifting. Also, since 2017, I was the event coordinator for ArtBattle.com where painters compete live for global recognition and prizes.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First to find out which image student desires to paint. Then determine if student wants to finish in 20 minutes? 2 hours? Or 2 sessions? Individualized step by step guidance based on skill level and difficulty of chosen painting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Fine art instructor for Mission Renaissance. The largest fine art studio in the world. Trained as a master duplicator and can teach anyone how to draw and paint. BS degree from CSULB.
Also, I have been a teacher at Paint & Sip Parties since 2017. Over 100 images to choose to paint. 20 minute training for Art Battle competitors. More complex images may take two sessions. Company Team building and birthday packages available.

All supplies (paints, brushes, canvases, easels, aprons, towels, etc. are included for $35/person. Artists will normally complete painting in 2 hours,

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Art Battle is a live competitive painting event. 12 Artists will create the best work they can in three 20 minute rounds of live painting. As they work, the audience moves around the easels, allowing them an up close view of the creative process. The winners are decided by audience vote, and Champions will advance to City, Regional, National, and World Championships.
