About

My education goes back to 1993 where I studied both film and digital formats. This training along with teaching High School photography give me the ability to teach the core of photography. I have had the privilege of working at both the Philadelphia Museum of Art and SF Museum of Modern Art as a conservation photographer. Having technical knowlege matters. I would love to pass my passion on into your knowlege.

I have been creating photos that last a lifetime since 1993. For me, there is no better feeling than capturing an image that tells a story, gives an emotion, or documents history. Teaching someone that skill, means it carries on beyond me. Moments don't last, photos do.

    Frequently asked questions

I like to have an initial two hour lesson.  This gives time to assess where your skills are, and where you want them to be. Along with allowing for training right away.

In 1990 I put myself through school at Rosemont College (Villanova Sister School) where I received a BFA (cum laude) then at Philadelphia Community College for more specialized classes. After which I interned, then was hired at Philadelphia Museum of Art. This gave me a one of a kind training that I enjoy passing on.  You need to know the technical basics of photography to be the best you can be.

Initial session is $ 70 for 2 hours if you travel to me (downtown PHX). I would like the first session to be 90 minutes or longer.  I think you need that much time to get through some material.

Following sessions are $ 30 an hour if you travel to me.

Deposits are required to hold your space.  Rescheduling is ok with 48 hour notice.
