About
I help soccer players develop individual skills to help them play with creativity and confidence, so they can make a positive impact in the game for their team.
With over 20 years of coaching experience I have worked with players at the club, high school, collegiate, and professional level. My training process involves a well-rounded approach, incorporating neuromuscular activation, agility and coordination, cognitive training to develop awareness and decision-making, as well as skills and tactics.
I love when players are able to apply newly acquired skills in game situations, and build their confidence.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by discussing the player's goals with the player and parents to understand what they want to accomplish. I then formulate a training plan that will help that player progressively improve their skills and acumen so they can improve and accomplish their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a Division I collegiate player at Howard University. I have also played at the academy level in England and Holland. In addition I hold the USSF National D license, and I have over 20 of coaching experience with travel and high school soccer.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard rate is $25/hr for field players, and $40/hr for goalkeepers
How did you get started teaching?
While playing in college, I began helping my coach with his clinics, camps, and travel teams. Then in 2006, I obtained my first coaching license from the USSF. I've been coaching high school and middle school soccer since 2002, and travel soccer since 2006.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have coached and trained mostly girls. The youngest I have worked with is 6 years old where we just introduce basic skills and movement patterns. I currently train young women who play on ECRL, GA, and WPSL teams.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Last year I had the opportunity to work a one-on-one training session with a player from the US Women's National Team.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who is knowledgeable, listens to your needs and goals, and makes the training challenging and fun.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are their goals? What is their motivation? How hard are they willing to work? How much do they enjoy the sport?
