She focuses on developing strong fundamentals. My daughter said... Tiana is very good at explaining to get the student to execute on the fundamentals. She makes it fun for the athlete and is positive and encouraging.

Tiana is great and my daughter learned a lot of techniques with her coaching. She has a perfect blend of expertise, passion and patience. Her in depth knowledge of the game coupled with her ability to breakdown complex techniques, improved my daughter’s skills and understanding of volleyball. My daighter wants to sign up for more lessons from her. Thank you Tiana!

Frequently asked questions

I typically like to analyze my players skill level and see what they need to work on or what they are good at. I also like to know what their goal is. My biggest thing I work on is fundamentals. Fundamentals are so important and it may seem a little slow at first but if you don't have the right fundamentals you can only get so far doing bad habits. You can't get to the next level needed to make them successful. I also like to explain why we do certain things in volleyball and the right vs wrong and how it feels so the player is able to understand their body and they can feel the difference when they do something right vs wrong. It makes a big difference when you understand why you are doing something then just being told to do something.

I've coached at a collegiate level. Played at a collegiate level.
