What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I get to know the student.  This makes them more comfortable.  I want to see there raw ability, not trying to impress or change anything, but really what the ability level the possess.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Professional and College background as a player. However I have spent time learning how to teach from some of the best in the business.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I start at $80 an hour which includes the facility fee.

Packages are customized with how many times a week/month that we get together.

Discounts are given with more sessions per week/month because I am a believer that the more reps and time we can spend working, the faster and more throughly the student is able to retain the information.

How did you get started teaching?

After playing for 23 years, and developing a love for the game, moving on and using my skills that I had learned to teach and inspire young athletes was a no brainer.  I absolutley love teaching the game.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with all ages.  I have experience in coaching and teaching at every level including Highschool, College, and Professional athletes.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

All 13 of my 2018 Catchers are moving on to play College baseball.

All 26 of my 2018 seniors have college offers.

The 2016 season as a Coach of the Phenom Signature coaching staff.  The team as 15u player with 12+ D1 commits charged to a 43-1 record including winning Perfect Game EvoShield National Championship and finishing the year as the #2 ranked team by Perfect Game.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Find a coach that you want to learn from and gives you more then just a lesson.  A coach that makes you want to wake up at 5am the next day to get to the gym or get extra hitting in on there own to get better.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What the goal is.  There is no magic pill for success in this game.  Before seeking out instruction have long term and short terms goals.  Commit to the hard work that it will take to get the job done.
