Chris Carminucci is the Founder and Head Coach of CC Sports Academy, bringing decades of professional baseball experience to player development. Currently aMajor League scout for the Arizona Diamondbacks, where he applied his deep knowledge of the game and extensive background in evaluating talent at every level.
Recognized as a world-renowned advanced coach, scout and evaluator, Chris has built a reputation throughout sports as “the scout who finds undervalued talent.” Over the course of his career, he has signed more than 30 players who went on to reach the Major Leagues. His sharp eye for ability—combined with leadership and development expertise—has earned him multiple prestigious honors, including Manager of the Year and Scout of the Year.
Beyond scouting and coaching, he has also been an owner and operator of professional baseball teams, providing him with unique insight into both the player and business sides of the sport.
Chris is the author of the book Sign Me! and has traveled the world sharing his experiences in baseball and leadership. He is also the co-host of the radio show Sports Goombas, bringing candid insights and entertaining perspectives on the game. As a sought-after keynote speaker, Chris has delivered talks that inspire athletes, coaches, executives, and entrepreneurs alike.
