Welcome! I am a Brazilian American music educator, bassist, and composer. I have been teaching music lessons for over four years in the valley. I compose concert music, video game music and film music in Arizona. I have worked together with string orchestras, double bass quartets, wind bands and plays bass in a rock band. He holds a bachelor’s degree in theory and composition (Composition) from Arizona State University. John loves collaborating with others and teaching music to youth.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to watch the students play a few of their favorite pieces of music to find where they are at in their studies. I can then figure out a map for the student to follow lesson plans to become better musicians.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied different instruments and different styles in orchestras and bands. I am currently a music major focusing on music composition and theory. I have played instruments all of my life.

My lessons are generally 20 dollars for half an hour and 30 dollars for an hour.
