About
I learned to sew when I was 9 years old. My grandmother was a professional seamstress and taught me the value of well crafted and unique clothing. I designed my first gown when I was 17 and have been designing ever since. I have created costumes, gowns, comfort wear and accessories. I love the process from a concept to the actualization of a design.
I have taught fashion design and development for 20 years and have worked in the apparel industry for 30.
Another passion is textiles! From the fiber to the made fabric is an incredible journey and I have done it all.
I can assist you in your goals of developing skills and completing your projects!
I love to read and write. I have also been tutoring kids in reading, writing and comprehension as well as I tutor kids in English speaking. So I am available to provide these types of tutoring!

$45 per hour for online teaching and tutoring
$45 hour for ongoing lessons or create a package that is amenable to both tutor and student
$60 hour for teaching a group of 2-3 students
