About
Offering private, customized-for-you guideance, I meet you where you are at based on your goals and desires, physical, mental and emotional states of being. My training is extensive and includes 500 E-RYT, Advanced Yoga Nidra, Body Psychology/Yoga Therapy, Sound Healing, Integral Breath Therapy and more. More importantly, I embrace and apply these modalities within my own life journey and have a deep understanding of what to use when based on your needs. Give me a call to see if we are fit and if I am the right person to support you.
The experience that students have and how it opens up a new way of being in the body is one of aspects that I enjoy. Here are some quotes:
I so appreciate your gentle, encouraging presence, skill and willingness to share your knowledge. Esther G.
The change and shifts since I began working with you has been transformative. David T.
I love the energy and calmness you’ve instilled in my life. Aline S.
I am feeling more open, less resistant, and not as reactive to negative daily events and people... the experience helped me become more of an observer to witness my mental flow of energy both negative and positive. Margie P.
Thank you for a great session. I like how you said something like “ Notice it , Accept it, Allow it will change on its own.” That’s a reminder to me as - we tend to want to push. Thank you for helping me notice my tension. It didn’t hurt physically as much as emotionally, was exhausting to hold, and much better now. Josephine
You stretch our bodies, hearts and souls. Shrink our negativity. I loved yoga from you! Patty W.
Just wanted to say how much better I felt throughout the day. A lot more light and positive. Thank you! Jordyn S.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Listen, listen, listen!
It is foundational to working together that my understanding of the client needs is clear so I can support their journey fully! Establishing an open communication approach that encourages immediate feedback and ongoing support is also included.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My personal practice in meditation and deep listening, plus other body based modalities extends for over 20 years. My professional training includes a registered yoga teacher credential with Yoga Alliance both at the 200 and 500 levels, an MBA, spiritual direction/ deep listening certification and certifications in advanced meditation (yoga Nidra) plus yoga body psychology/yoga therapy and Intergal breath therapy. In addition I am trained in sound healing and combine modalities based on my intuition and client needs to offer the best support possible.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?
I was in my late 30s and begin to notice that upon waking my lower back was sore, tight and sometimes painful if I had not practiced in the past week. This seemed like a pretty simple solution to support my overall well-being and I became more and more immersed in the art and science of holistic practices and have come to recognize and embrace that 'THE BODY ALWAYS KNOWS.' When I completed my the first part of my additional training it was intended to simply deepen understanding. Based on feedback from students, and now clients, and from my own sense of being called to this work, I begin teaching regularly and started seeing clients privately about five years ago. I started by offering classes at the church that I attended and through this experience was able to work with a wide range of people who would not otherwise have access. They expressed the changes they were seeing and over time I begin to teach more and more. It is my passion. I continually am amazed by the transformative aspects of these practices.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with a wide range of students. These include people in their teens and into their 70s, of various genders, shapes and sizes. I especially enjoy working with beginning students and offering an approach that works for them regardless of how flexible they are. Students and clients that recognize they must 'do the work' to allow transformation to happen are necessary for the practices to have a lasting impact.
