Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Meet them where they are, metaphorically speaking. Assess any injuries or limitations and design a program that suits their lifestyle and goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters of Public Health and a history in health coaching and personal training. My staff are all certified yoga teachers, each with a different specialty.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
first class free. New students can try two weeks for $25. Drop in class $18. 10 classes $130. 20 classes $210. One month unlimited $90.
How did you get started teaching?
I don't teach yoga, my background and expertise is in the area of public health education. I was inspired by the ability to reach "normal" people with yoga when I was coordinating fitness at the public health department as an employee. I decided that I want to open a yoga studio space where everybody felt welcome.
What types of students have you worked with?
Our classes accommodate all student levels, from the very beginning with limited range of motion to the more advanced practitioner.
