Because everyone is teach the basic moves, I teach the next level of how to attack your opponent with those moves attacking the Defense with what they give you. Also defense is a important part of the game of basketball and I am a defense of specialist in the game.
it is a joy and a pleasure to train a student and then watch them go out and achieve more than they thought that they were capable of achieving.
last year I trained a girl who the year before played on the freshman team then also played up on JV after training with me this year she tried out for the team made varsity and was the Starting point guard. That's the joy I get out of my craft.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I want to take the time to get to know the student to what how they process and retain information. Then we would sit down and create a plan of attack to make sure that the clients get the best out of the training. I also use a Player Performance Evaluation sheet.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Many and many of coaching seminars and training sessions to learn my craft, and I'm never done learning. There is always something to learn about the game of basketball.

How did you get started teaching?
I was 18 years old and the recreation center was in need of coaches and the coordinator asked me if I have ever Coached before I told him no and he asked me if I was interested I wasn't at first but wind up doing it and got bit by the coaching bug, and have been doing it every since then.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with males/female from the first grade to college. I've been requested to take over teams and to bring up their skill level then hand them back over to their coaches with a better feel and IQ for the game.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was just recently hired as the head coach for the Phoenix lady elite semi pro basketball team.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that the trainer has excellent knowledge of the fundamentals of the sport you are interested in.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Pretty much all of the question you have ask, good questions.
