CS Hitting And Fielding Specialist
About
The student will have a personalized daily plan to fit their specific needs. Each session will help build student confidence, understanding, communication, and joy around baseball. Some daily hitting drills to help guide each student may include soft toss, tee work, front toss, and batting practice. Fielding drills may include glove fundamentals, footwork, positional breakdown and mental focus drills. Each lesson will help students develop a deeper understanding of how they may become better competitors.
I have a true love for the game of baseball. Nothing is more satisfying for me then to see my clients develop passion for the game. When we build knowledge and understanding of daily drills and teachings we learn about ourselves as athletes. Ultimately we are becoming better people by the positive effort and attitude we bring to each session.

How did you get started teaching?
I played 4 years of college baseball and loved every minute. playign at the college level was such a positive experience, that I stayed on campus as a college assistant for 4 years. I have been coaching all levels and age groups since college. I love baseball, but most importantly I love helping others become better baseball players each day.
What types of students have you worked with?
Elementary, High School, Semi- Pro, Amatuer, and College students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I used to coach 14u club baseball. My 14u club team was down 10 runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. We came back with a walkoff win by scoring ten runs with two outs left in the last inning. That was one of the most exciting games I have been a part of in the past ten years. I enjoyed to grit and passion each player had during that game.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask Questions. The amount of information in the game of baseball is astronomical. I have learned so much just by asking questions from my coaches. You must be ok with asking for help from your coach. You may make mistakes but do not get down on yourself. Learn from your mistakes and keep a positive mindset.
View your lessons as a way for you to learn about the game and yourself. Its ok to make mistakes. Trust yourself and try your best always. Find a way to do something each day to get better. The number one rule is have fun and enjoy your time with your coach. Its a game, its supposed to fun and the daily work can be fun with a positive mindset.
