I am classically trained in fine art. I went to the Art Center of Design in Pasadena where I studdied painting, drawing, graphic design, typography and illustration. I have worked as a professional artist for 10 years and taught art classes locally until the shop I worked out of was shut down due to covid. I specialize in watercolor, acrylic, oil and illustration. I have been teaching children and adults since I was a teen myself, first as a ski instructor and later as a private art insturctor/tutor.
I looooooooove to paint. It fullfills me, gives me a great sense of purspose, happiness and contentment. I love nothing more than to share this experience with others. It is so easy to get hung up on how good or pretty or well thought out a peice is when what matters is the process. We do not all start out as Rembrandt, like him we must work for perfection and enjoy the ride to get there.
