Combes Studios offers private tuition in drawing and painting technique in a relaxed environment with one of the most internationally acclaimed wildlife artists, Guy Combes. Whatever your level of ability, Guy will help you create with confidence, and achieve great goals with your work. He has been teaching workshops for the last 8 years in Wyoming, California, Arizona, Canada and the United Kingdom. He has work in museums and galleries across the US and overseas, and many of his students have gone on to win awards and achieve thriving careers as professional artists. Guy has won awards through The Society of Animal Artists, Artists for Conservation, International Artist Magazine, Richeson 75 and The Art Renewal Center. He studied in the UK at Cheltenham College of Art and had a 5 year Residency at the Hiram Blauvelt Museum in Oradell, NJ. He is currently working towards a solo show at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum where he teaches regularly at their Art Institute.

I love to be immersed in nature whenever possible, and my work is the perfect way to make this an essential part of the process. I am also an enthusiastic communicator, and painting is just one way to tell a story. It enables me to draw people in to what I am most passionate about. I feel incredibly fortunate to be successful at doing a job that doesn't ever feel like a job.
