About
After teaching music for so many years, I have acquired great skills. I know how to best approach every kind of student and situation, how to find the best way to encourage and motivate students. I am very empathetic and friendly and I have an infinite amount of patience. I always bring out the best from my students. I have a vast repertoire and a broad range of teaching techniques.
I adore passing my love of music on to my students. It is amazing watching them evolve and blossom as they improve playing their instruments. I love watching them form bands and begin expressing themselves through music. My favorite part is watching their self-esteem grow as they gain confidence in the instrument.

First it's important to get to know the new student, their personality and interests, working on basic skills for playng the instrument. Then we built a program together so the student can study and reach their goals.

In almost 20 years of experiece working in music, I have had the opportunity to teach students renging in age from six to sixty years old.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One recent event I'm quite fond of was having gone on tour with the Celtic rock band Tempest in 2018/19. We played in venues from coast to coast, some historic, some smaller and others bigger. I really enjoyed seeing so much of the United States.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It's very important to find the right teacher. Beginning students must have a teacher with empathy, who is open and has good music skills and experience in the field.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students need to consider their musical goals, and how far they want to go in their musical exploration. They need to then find the right teacher matching these needs and goals.
