My name is Ana Moreno. I have been passionate about Art since I got a hold of my first crayon as a small child. Creating Art is what brings life to me. I have had experience teaching Art to children from 3 to 18 years old for about 6 years. I paint for the Love of Art and I teach for the Love of sharing my gift so that my students too will find the feeling and passion in Art that I feel when I create Art. Im easy to get along with I have a sense of humor that adults and children feel comfortable with me.
Art brings peace to me and to others I have taught , its like therapy that just makes you feel relaxed and proud. When I see students create something that they didnt think the could create make me feel a sense of being and purpose.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Basic painting techniques to advance. I start from bare basics, I teach my students how to use a brush, how to use paint , how to use shadowing and light, I physically sometimes hold a students hand so they may feel how I paint and blend paint. You will become an Artist with me, I will share my life's passion experiences with you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught Artist, just comes naturally to me, but I have taken classes from Trade Tech and East Los Angeles Occupational center as Commercial Art which helped a little with tricks of the trade type, but Art and teaching Art comes natural, I can teach my technique to students and have them become Artists in no time, practice is the key!

I have a standared about $45. an hour now, was $65 an hour. But wanted to give everyone a breakon price because of the pandamic.
How did you get started teaching?
I started volunteering in my childrens Elementary school, got hired for the afterschool program where shared my creativity with the children. After that I was employed with other school districts in the specific afterschool Art programs, then joined Art Camp group, and now currently work teach at a private Art Studio,.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages starting at age 3 up to Adults
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I will travelling to Mexico soon and volunteer to teach at an orphang soon to help generate income for the church.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I can literrally hold your hand so you can feel my Artistic Energy, I will explain everything step by step until you get it right. I will share my technique and soon you will develope your own. I share my key basics , kind of a short cut indrawing and painting to get you moving in leaps and bounds into the Art world I am so passionate about, and I am easy to work with, most of my students are happy with me, i'm like a big kid at heart, but a soul that lives for Art.
