Hello! My name is Tor. I am a classical pianist and film composer. I teach piano and music theory to all levels of pianists.
My focus on lessons is learning how to sight-read/read music, developing the proper techniques and musical skills to make your playing as lovely as it should be.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
On the first day I introduce the piano’s “first five notes” and the character of the instrument to the student, posture, and overall beginner piano etiquette.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching piano for 11 years working with both beginner and adult students.

30 minutes lessons = $45 45 minutes lesson = $60 1 hour lesson = $75.
How did you get started teaching?
I was still studying when I had friends interested in learning piano. So I began to give them lessons.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Not every teacher is the same. So it's important to find a teacher than can teach to your style of learning and not just follow a standard teaching agenda that may or may not work for you
