My art classes are very unique in that students are taught individually based on their level/experience and personal artistic goals. I am well versed in several mediums including: oil, watercolor, pastel, acylic,ink, and mixed media. So it's almost like private lessons in a small group environment.
I teach all ages. Whether I'm working with an adult or child I am so filled with joy watching students' artistic ability and technique evolve. Art is my passion and joy! I have so much fun working with emerging and established artists!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Firstly, I like to know why the student is seeking art lessons. We discuss their previous experience and strategize a plan for reaching desired goals. We often sketch for the first class and talk about how drawing relates to painting. Again, it depends on the student because my approach is very custom.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA and have been conducting art classes and workshops since 2002. My artwork is owned by private collectors around the United States and I've participated in several local community art festivals. I'm currently commissioned by OC safe homes for a special project.
