About

Hi! We are Whittney Mikkél and Jaren Cloud, an artist duo and music production team known as Mikkel Cloud. We are passionate about music education and content creation! Coming from rich musical backgrounds and putting years of study and dedication into our craft, we are proud to deliver quality musical services to our students and clients. From audio production and composition for media projects to private music lessons for all ages, we are a dedicated partnership that offers a unique musical experience.

We both have Bachelor of Music degrees from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University Long Beach, and have formal training in classical and jazz studies as well as arranging and composition techniques. Individually, we each have 10+ years of teaching experience in a private setting and have coached choirs and band/jazz ensembles. Between the two of us, our complimentary skill sets allow us to cover a variety of musical concepts and instruments. Being artists and content creators, we also have a dedicated home studio space for recording, songwriting and production.

    My son is 6 years old. Last year I went online to fine Ms Whittney . She is my son Piano teacher.
    First we start the piano Lesson at the teacher place But Because of the COVID-19 now. Everyone need to stay home . Few months ago we start Zoom online class with my son and we loving it so much.
    Ms Whittney is very great with kids , and very patient as well. ( Not easy to find)
    Also Ms Whittney pay attention to details. My son not just learning piano as the same time his have so much fun.
    Ms Whittney she is good to answers questions in message.
    Online class and in person lesson is not as much different that how I feel.
    Specially now kids are always at home , online class for piano lesson is a good idea, Parents can rest when kids a learning.

    I am so happy with the piano classes I have been taking with Whittney. I was a little hesitant to take piano classes at first because I felt like that is something you do when youre younger, and I am in my 30s. But Whittney is so patient, she made me feel so comfortable and at ease and is a EXCELLENT teacher for ALL ages! I can honestly say that I am developing skills that I didn’t know I had and am learning so much in her classes. It’s therapeutic and something that I look forward to each week!     My son started piano lessons when he was only 3 years old...now 3 years later he’s reading music, knows the piano keys and is playing songs from memory. Whittney has always been very patient and caring with him. In times when life happens she’s always been very flexible and understanding with our schedules and is always so nice and friendly.
