What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our lessons Start at 8 o’clock in the morning We fit you for a wetsuit and surfboard . Next we start with all the safety and commands that you need to learn. We go over safety and the use of the board in the water. Then we Work on technique’s and your pop up. After this part is done successfully we’re ready to go on the water . Where a instructor will take you out into the water and give you instructions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed respiratory therapist I have 56 years of experience of surfing .30 years Experience teaching all my instructors are water safety and first aid certified And CPR certified

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask them if they are permitted for the beach and they have insurance.. If they are you should have the ability to call the city in which they are participating in check with the park and rec office and they will let you know if they have those credentials
