I believe the love for instruments come the songs we like. I arrange songs of my students' favorite into a version that fit with their skill level. I have undergraduate and graduate degrees in music performance, and I've been teaching for decades. I have also played for many television shows and movies, such as Inside/Out, Wall-e, Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, America's Got Talent, Lost, and Family Guy, to name a few. I've recorded and performed with many groups and stars, including Guns & Roses, Aerosmith, Ringo Starr, George Harrison, Andrea Bocelli, Mannheim Steamroller, the Pacific Symphony, and Laguna Pagaent of the Masters Orchestra, so I have lots of experience to bring to every level of teaching.
