My name is Andrew Hawley and I am an artist and educator, working in Bakersfield, CA. I have been teaching the visual arts to kids and teens since 2011 throughout the Kern County area. I currently work as a middle school art teacher and have been teaching private photo lessons out of my home on the side.

I currently offer a series of lessons designed for teens and adults looking to gain a better understanding of their digital camera and its technical functions. Equally important, students will also explore the history of photography and its application in the realm of the fine arts. Through participation in various hands-on activities, students will gain a familiarity with their camera that will enable them to create their own works beyond these lessons.
