My ability to break down the art of photography into digestable easy to understand parts and pieces is one of my greatest strengths. I have an easy going patient nature that makes learning fun and stress free. I personally love photography and documenting the world around me and I bring that passion to my teaching. I have over a decade of experience shooting professionally in all types of ways and look forward to passing that experience on to my students.

I specialize in lifestyle and portrait photography and have been shooting commercially for over a decade. I'm a native Californian and call the San Francisco Bay Area home. When shooting I strive for authenticity and a candid nature in my images. My passion is creating imagery using analog and digital tools. I look forward to helping all age ranges better understand the fundimentals of photography and how to improve their images and feel more satified with the process.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I try and meet each student where they are in their learning process and build from there. I have many years of teaching experience and feel comfortable with all levels of skill. I can help you get the photos you want to take!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years of real world professional photography experience shooting content for a wide variety of applications.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching a number of years ago educating young on folks the basics of photography. I have since worked at summer academies at local high schools and provide education through one of my current jobs.
