Music is my calling, and I have been immersed in it for many years, from teaching and composing to providing production consultancy and artist liaison services. My love affair with music began at age 4. In 1988 at CSUN, I started my journey as a professional pianist. I am an avid teacher, and nothing brings me more joy than teaching music to students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced learners, whether they are aged 5 or 95. My dedication to music teaching was recognized by Carnegie Hall when I was awarded a Diploma of Recognition in November 2015.

My son (age 10) has been studying with Laura for the past two years and my daughter (age 6) recently started the past year.
Her curriculum is interesting and varied. She makes an effort to get the kids playing something they actually enjoy.
She also has a nice curriculum for the early learners as my daughter started lessons at age 5.
I highly recommend Laura as a piano teacher :)

My son has been studying with Ms. Laura for two years, and we have had a great experience! She is so nice and patient to the kids. Not only does she help kids improve their performance skills, she also works with music theory and technique. She is so easy to work with and accommodates well with parents.
