Jung Il Park is originally from South Korea and he first learned the violin at the age of five and the cello at the age of ten

and established the basic techniques of cello with numerous renowned teachers in his own country. Mr. Park earned his Bachelor of

Music in Music Performance from the Gachon University and got his Diploma at Akademie für Tonkunst Darmstadt. After he graduated

he kept on studying Music Pedagogy with Christopher von Erffa and Peter Wolf at Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main.

As an ensemble player, Park was a section member in Seodaemun Public Youth Orchestra and a member of Soregi Chamber

Orchestra while he was a student, and he also served as an associate principal in Korean National Police Symphony.

Mr. Park is currently privately teaches numerous talented students in Orange County and coaches for Orange Community Christian Youth Orchestra.

As a cellist, Mr. Park is the principal of Shekinah Ensamble and he is a member of Music Teachers’

Association of California.
