Events Dance Coordinator/Choreographer/ Instructor
Maintained a record of choreography building in communities for weddings, sweet sixteen, quinceaneras, catiliions, college events, and more. Have taught a variety of styles of dancing from salsa, bachata, Samba, Colombian cumbia, belly dancing, contemporary jazz hiphop, soca, afro caribbean, tango, waltz, and even reggaeton.
Have taught ages 6 years to 18 years.
I focus on creativity, technique/flexibility, fitness, discipline but in a fun atmosphere, education in cultural backgrounds and vocabulary.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First focusing on their understanding on the topic and seeing their technical strengths if desired to pursue dancing or if completely new to dance focus mainly on basic steps to better their skills.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied dance at a university level and have been involved in the field as a child. I have competed on paso de ore dance company as well as cal state Fullerton salsa competitive team, and even performed on a production team in high school. Growing up I was involved on a production team In jr high and danced on the drill team in elementary.
How did you get started teaching?
I have also taught many formal events and began teaching my first team at boys & girls club of my elementary school.
What types of students have you worked with?
I began teaching 5 to 13 years and have moved up to high school level and even taught at a college event a few times. Currently, I am also teaching 2 to 8 years of age.
