About

I teach kids how to figure things out in a guiding style way of learning. Together, we co-create something that feels good while my professional eye keeps a lookout for flaws in the machanics that might lead to injury. Also, being a physical education teacher when I was in NY, it's alwasy a blast being around kids who are ready to learn by playing baseball.

I love teaching how to pitch bc every pitcher is different.. everyBODY is different. We can't just do the same things that everyone else does to strengthen the arm/body. Together, we perform a series of interval style throwing excersises that helps build endurance and velocity that avoids injury at the same time.

I have been a pitcher for most of my life and a coach for a number of years now. Through successes and injuries, I know that I have all the knowledge to make a players arm invincible bc of the things that I went through. I'm glad I went through 2 shoulder surgeries and a retear (that I never foxed) bc I proved to myself that despite the things my arm suffered, I can STILL throw hard with endurance and free of pain.

I was so lucky to learn the things I learned and to be around the people that taught them to me. Now it's my turn to pass the torch of information but in a more revolutionized fashion. Things are always changing and I love when they do. I truly believe that my throwing and stregnth program can lead any baseball player to having the invincible arm.

For one, I love seeing kids go through the rights of passage of becoming a successful and dominant pitcher. Going through that feeling for myself was something that I loved more than life and I want every kid to get that feeling.

Also, I love learning and continue to do so by teaching. I can't and wouldn't go into a pitching lesson with the same ideas that worked for someone else. There's all type of players and throwing motions out there and together, we come up with something that works for the individual.

Frequently asked questions

What are your goals, both short and long term? Are you dealing with aches/pains? Want to locate the ball better? Do you want to throw harder? Do you want more endurance?

The first step is realizing what you're aiming for. After that, I will watch you throw and we will do a run down of your mechanics to get rid of any flaws that might be causeing/lead to injury.

After that, we see what type of shape your arm is in and put you though a series of workouts that will only deliver benefits. This sounds easier than it might be. This is also a "co-creative process." If it doesn't feel right after giving it a good got, we move on to something else.
