Alicia Cutaia

Alicia Cutaia is a celebrated dancer, instructor, choreographer, fire performer, and harness aerialist. She is Founder and Artistic Director of ARC in Movement LLC, an innovative multidisciplinary performance company. She is also one of three USA based Certified MUNZ BARRE coaches. She earned her BFA in Classical Ballet and Jazz from Point Park University. She was a scholarship recipient at Hubbard Street Dance, North Carolina Dance Theater and River North Dance Company. She has worked with and performed pieces by many renowned choreographers. She has spent over 15 years touring internationally with professional companies, acting as rehearsal director, and company dancer with Eisenhower Dance Detroit, Hubbard Street Dance, Giordano Jazz Dance, and BodyVox, where she was also rehearsal coordinator. Her choreography has won many awards including YAGP, W.B.A.C Grand Prix and US Prix de Ballet. She has taught at Lou Conte Dance Studio, Oakland University, American Ballet Theatre, Dance Theater of Harlem, Sultanov Russian Ballet Academy, The Portland Ballet and many others. A number of her students have been accepted on scholarship to many prestigious summer and college dance programs along with professional dance careers. Cutaia also teaches specialized classes for aerialists, acrobats, prop manipulators, rhythmic gymnasts, and figure skaters.
