What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically will start a lesson with some light warm ups and freestyle moves to engage and get to know their personality.
Having fun is my goal and achieving results.

Hourly rate varies on how many hours and what style of dance.
Also age and group rates may vary.
$25=$50 an hour
How did you get started teaching?
I kept getting requests to teach bellydance and ballet as well as Armenian for the youth dance studios over 10 years ago.
While I always focused on being a performer teaching was a natural progression in the dance community.
Very rewarding and so much love that comes from my students in which I keep going towards this journey.

All ages from 2 years to 75 haha

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently debuted my solo jazz fusion bellydance piece at my first Cairo Shimmy Quake bellydance festival.
For years I kept missing it and finally after having my 1st baby girl I got back on the stage to perform and it felt so good.
My love for dance is so much more than I though it would be because of my little one. She has been dancing with me ever since she was in my belly. So grateful that she chose me for her mommy.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
To make sure you stay focused, positive and have fun.

"Life is unpredicatable. Take care of your health becuase without it you can't achieve all of your lifes everyday goals."
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Nothing is overnight. Don't expect major changes with out hard work. If you ask when will I lose weight or see results, don't.
It all depends on your body type, dedication and commitment.
