About this pro

As a professional dancer and success coach, I customize all of my lessons to meet the goals and abilities of my students.  I am very direct, but also very patient and comical at what I do.   I have been dancing for 8 years and still continue to train on a daily basis.  Dancing completely changed my life and showed to me that anything can be made real, through hard-work and piatence.

Outside of dancing, I have created my own coaching business, Pep Talk with Pepz that is geared to help you create new success habits, increase your discipline, and improve your confidence.

I can teach both in fluent English and Spanish, as well as communicating partially in Italian.  I ensure that all of my students are met with a great class that focuses on strengthening and stretching one's body and dance ability.

From teaching little kids (ages 4-10) to full blown adults that have had no exposure to formal dance training, I am very confident in my abilities to explain, demonstrate, and assist my students.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I like to first hear from my students as to what they want to work on and why.  It's important for both us to be clear as to what they want to learn, why they want to learn it, what inspires them, and how they feel I can help them.

All of my classes start with a warm-up, that includes stretching and conditioning, for me to help minimize the risk of injuries but also for me to see how their body responds to the music and movement.

My classes tend to go over foundational techniques that I incorporate into a small routine or a guided freestyle.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am trained in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Voguing, Waacking, House and Popping.
