About
What I love most about teaching ESL is when that light of understanding and discovery shines in my students. It is a joy to watch my students grow and reach their goals.
Since 2017 have been teaching English as a second language (ESL), and have had the privilege to work with a wide range of people. This includes students from ages 11 – Adults and from many different countries such as India, China, Japan, Mexico, and Russia. Some started at a very basic beginner’s level leaning the alphabet and small words and phrases while others had more advance knowledge and wanted to practice pronunciation and diction. My lessons are custom crafted and student focused to help build confidence and strengthen speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
In addition, I teach Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. With over 15 years of corporate and academic experience using these business applications, I love sharing my knowledge to help others learn new skills to improve business processes and help make better business decisions.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I take time to get know my students so I can discover what their goals, objectives, and interests are. This information helps to create a custom curriculum that focuses on my student’s specific needs in order to accomplish their goals. Just as well, making sure my students have a stress free environment is of extreme important. I am supportive, patient, and kind and want my students to feel comfortable and be free to learn while having fun at the same time.
