Some people may learn quite well in that fashion, and there was a period of time when I actually believed, or rather was brainwashed into thinking that being verbally berated would serve as motivation. But now I see quite clearly that is not the case: I learn a lot better and I am more motivated to practice when I find it a pleasure to go to my piano lessons! There are dozens of talented musicians in LA. But not all of them are talented teachers. Ozzy is both. So when you get lessons from him you're not just getting someone who knows music really well you're getting someone who knows how to teach YOU music really well. Not only that, he's talented on multiple instruments so you could basically hire this guy to train you're entire band if you wanted to.
