About
I have been teaching privately for 25 years. I started teaching back when I was in high school.
Each student is unique and as such so is each lesson plan I prepare. I take care to teach appropriate brass pedagogy to help with your technique. We work on fun stuff to including duets, soloi, may a little improv, etc.
Vocal students that are younger than 14 tend to get overlooked and I work with each on vowels and melodic warm ups to help sing naturally. No forced sing or belting in this studio. Vocal warm ups that are musical. You can do improv for voice as w student learns music theory. I prepare games to learn music theory.

I love helping kids and adults alike master something they found challenging at first. I love being able to help them succeed and find the joy in music!
