What an incredible weekend we had! I just wanted to thank you for all of the time and energy you put into coaching our girls this season. I can tell you that something clicked with Sabrina and Amanda this year that Ive not seen in years past. Before, it seemed like soccer was more of a social event for them but this year it was definitely about the sport. I believe that much of that is due to you. It was not just soccer skills that you taught them but also the ideals that go along with sportsmanship and competition. The personal attention you gave them during training clearly inspired them and lit the match ! I know I can speak for most of the parents when I say I appreciate all of the hard work you have done not just for our girls, but for the organization.

I just wanted to share some thoughts about Coach Rosenblatt. My daughter, Mikeala, Miki Witenberg, has played with David over many seasons and during post-season. He has been an incredible force in her life and has taught her many things with respect to soccer and life experiences outside of the soccer field. She has an enormous amount of respect for David and enjoys playing on his teams. What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I assess their goals, create common ground and discuss the why as it relates to the how of what our taining sessions are about.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have taken over 200 hours of training/classes, Have been coaching for 36 years, I am also an Advanced Certified Coach Instructor training coaches as well as players, and a Section Coach trainer running classes for those seeking Advanced and Intermediate level Certification.

I am currently Coaching Varsity High School Girls as well as two Club Teams at BOCA Jr.s

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Varies depending on number of participants and number of sessions. I have a simple chart on my website.

How did you get started teaching?

20 Years ago after coaching players I decided to start teaching Coaches the proper way to train in addition to players, and now I have over 24 students training with me !

What types of students have you worked with?

All types, though I prefer Girls and aged from 5 to 14 as they have yet to develop all the skills they need, or too many bad habits that need correcting !

Dodgers finally winning the World Series !

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Play hard train harder, focus on development over winning, and don't let your biggest obstacle be in between your ears (Thanks to Alex Morgan for that one).

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What area of my game to I want to improve upon, what skills should I acquire to become an elite player, and what is the best position for me based on my skill set.
