About
My service stands out because I dont EVER force my students to ever be excellent or proficient in what I'm teaching. I am SO patient and I always strive to help my students no matter what. I develop new ideas and lesson plans according to how comfortable they are with my lessons. I have been an educator for close to 6 years now, so I know and I understand the struggles my students have and I try my best to accomodate those struggles with simple easy sessions.
What i enjoy most about this job is the fact that I can teach at my pace and the students. I also enjoy the fact that I get to work one on one with a student where the student can actually comprehend what he/she is learning. The simple fact that I'm helping that one person or child and knowing they are progressing because of me is the best feeling ever.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always ask my students what they're comfortable with and I always ask my students if what I'm teaching they understand or if they're following. I then like to always keep in contact with my students and check on them in case they need help or if they need any guidance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked for LAUSD for 6 years. I worked as a teacher assistant, paraprofessional, school translator and tutor and so I have so much experience and knowledge when it comes to helping you with your language skills.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I usually charge $20 the hour. If your out of my location range then it would be $25 and I always like to be paid weekly in cash.
How did you get started teaching?
I began as a teacher assistant and from there I began my teaching journey.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with k-6 students, children with special and learning disabilities, also I've worked with grown adults teaching ESL.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently worked with a student who was 50 years old and she really enjoyed learning english and wanting to keep learning because she had a goal to perfect her english. I loved going to teach her and knowing I was making a difference in her life :)
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise someone searching for a teacher to really do your research, know what you want out of these tutoring sessions and what your goals are once your done.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Questions should be about the students needs and how the tutor can fulfill their needs. What teaching styles do they prefer. What is easier for them, how many days will be too much. the hours needed to study also need to be discussed.
