My goal with every student is to create balance, touching all aspects of the students needs; physical, mental, and spiritual. You will be guided and inspired to create the conditions within your own self for enduring mind/body transformation.
Depending on your specific goals we will work to strengthen your body, improve flexibility, improve mental clarity and equanimity, improve sleep patterns, eating patterns, and much more. The work will always be designed so you feel more empowered, inspired, fresh, and creative in your life.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask the studnt to answer a few questions to understand their goals, both immediate and long term. This is important so that we can design a personalized program and assess progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a former professional ballet dancer. Received my 200Hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Certification in 2007 and now hold the E-200 RYT certification. In 2010 I opened my own studio with great success, and now I also free lance and teach privately to those looking for a more personalized approach.
I have trained and taken workshops with teachers like Max Strom, Shiva Rae, Indira Mohan, Neva Ingalls, and many others. Have been teaching different kinds of meditation since 2010 and also developed my own Yoga Teacher Training and have been training teachers since 2014.

How did you get started teaching?
I was a ballet dancer and a Yoga studio opened across the street form the ballet company. I took my first Yoga class and when I realized how stronger I was getting as a ballet dancer because of Yoga I was hooked. I became a tecaher and started tecahing in that same studio right away.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from all paths of life. From the mid twenties woman looking for strength, to the middle age man looking for more flexibility. I also teach prenatal Yoga and Yin Yoga.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A student of mine sent me a thank you note saying that my teaching and my studio had changed his life. It was incredibly rewarding to know I had made a difference in his life.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice to all students is come with a beginners mind to every practice. Also, if you are already strong work on your flexibility, and if you are flexible, work on your strength. I believe achieving balance is the key to optimize wellbeing.
Find a teacher not that will tell you exactly what to do, but one that will inspire you to connect to and strengthen your inner voice, so you can do your best every day.
Read The Four Agreements! :)
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
These are some of the questions I would ask my students so I can better understand their needs and where they are at the moment:
What is the one thing you appreciate the most about yourself? What you perceive as your strengths?
What is the one thing you would like to improve that you think will make you feel better about yourself? What you perceive as your weaknesses?
What is your short term goal?
What is your long term goal?
What aspect of yourself is more important to you; the physical, mental, or spiritual?
