We offer classes, days, nights and weekends.

All of the instructors at Safety 1st Seminars are either: nurses, E.M.T., firfighters or paramedics, so can teach from experience.

Helthcare Provider CPR $65
Adult CPR and First Aid $70
Pediactric CPR and First Aid $75
Babysitting (age 11-16) $50
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching over 33 years ago when I became the director of the American Red Cross in Santa Maria. Shortly therafter I started teach American Heart Association classes, then added Medic First Aid class.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students as young as 7 years old to 70.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you hire a professional that will work with you in person, not just a web based class.
Lifesaving skills cannot be learned soley over the internet.
Make sure that you are taking the correct class for your needs.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What class do you need specifically for your job, school, certification? There are several types of CPR and first aid classes. Make sure you choose correctly.
