With two years of experience as a substitute high school teacher for math and science in the Bay Area, and a graduate student at San Jose State University, I bring a wealth of practical and theoretical knowledge to our sessions. My educational background includes a degree in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Biomedical Engineering from San Jose State University, where I achieved a GPA of 3.6. Additionally, I hold an associate degree in Biological Sciences from De Anza College.
My teaching journey extends beyond the classroom. I have three years of experience in private tutoring, where I've worked with a diverse range of students from high schools in Saratoga, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, and San Jose, as well as college students at De Anza College, Santa Clara University, and San Jose State University. At the De Anza College Tutorial Center, I've dedicated three years to tutoring students in subjects like Chemistry, Algebra, Statistics, Pre-Calculus, and Physics. My role as a teacher assistant for Calculus at De Anza College has also honed my skills in delivering complex concepts in an accessible manner.
