About
Hi, Im a long time artist, drawing and painting for 20 yrs. I have an MFA from Pratt Institute in NY, and have been showing work for a while. I love to pass on my knowledge, experience, and unique observations. I'm skilled in drawing, figure drawing, acrylics, oils, pastels and graphic design. I like to find out as much as I can about the student and their art, and show them new paths. I'm also one to find life lessons hidden in the practice of drawing and painting. I like to keep it simple and ultimately try to teach the student how to make things easy on themselves.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I like to see the recent work of a new student. What do they like to draw or paint, what have they been up to, what is their interest and how can we combine their interests with drawing and learning to draw. And of course the approach and process slightly differs with the student's age.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taken an abundance of art classes. I recently attended Grad school at the Patt Institute in New York.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I try to stay around $35 an hour
