What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we go over the entire agenda of the class. Then we'll start with the very basics such as supplies and materials and how to use them properly. Then we'll go into the actual process of creating.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute
For years teaching Mixed Media at Mission Hill Middle School, Santa Cruz.
I have taught multiple adults and kid workshops.
Teacher and resident artist at the Tannery Art Center.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $100 a lesson but prices may vary based on the students preferences.
How did you get started teaching?
I was a part owner of a gallery where we collectively taught different workshops. I taught monoprinting after 4 years of and part-time teachers aid.
What types of students have you worked with?
Students ranging from age 5 to 65. Mostly beginners to having some knowledge of the arts.
