About

I teach Cheer Tumbling, Gymnastics, and Physical Fitness. A former competitive All American Gymnast and graduate of Cal State Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Physical Education. I have over 39 years of experience coaching and judging boys and girls at a competitive level. A National Certified Men's & Women's gymnastics coach with USA Gymnastics.

I have assisted with the development of a 1996 Olympian while helping to start & developing the boy’s gymnastics program at Scats in Huntington Beach. During this time I have produced many state and regional champions J.O. National Team members. I am currently the owner and director of Creative Gymnastics & Sports, a physical education program.

Also, currently, the Gymnastics, Physical Education, and Sports Coordinator at many schools within Orange County.

I enjoy seeing my students/athletes achieving their goals.

    Coach Randy is amazing! We first met him through our preschool and when my daughter graduated to Kinder we followed him to the big gym and had nothing but positive experiences! We were so impressed with him that we had him do privates with our older daughter too. He is everything you would want in a coach. He’s knowledgeable, trustworthy, puts safety and fun as a top priority and is flexible. It’s easy to be that coach that yells at kids to get them to perform, but coach Randy never did that to my kids. He was firm when needed but always strived to meet my kids where they were on any given day. I appreciated that he recognized my kids had good and bad days and would push when appropriate. We feel so fortunate to have had more than 3 years to work and get to know Coach Randy. He’s one of the good ones out there!!

    Frequently asked questions

    We drive to your home or park and teach a one hour lesson. All students/athletes are evaluated for their strength and range of motion/ flexibility.

    The number of days per week is discussed, a plan is made by the athlete and coach to achieve their goals.  Having fun is my number one goal!

    I was a Skateboarder who fell in love with gymnastics in high school.  I competed in high school and received a scholarship to compete in college gymnastics.  

    When I was in college I started teaching gymnastics and loved helping people achieve their goals, no matter how big or small.
