About
I run a music program for veterans in recovery suffering with PTSD, anxiety, depression, co-occuring disorders amongst other things. My curriculum is tailored specifically to this demographic.
I am not limited though to just veterans. I also have students as young as 5 years old. I love teaching kids as well as adults.
I thouroughly enjoy helping people reach their goals in music. Im patient, kind, and am able to help you not only read music but write music as well. My students mean a lot to me. Every single one of them.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I really like to know what my student is going through mentally/emotionally and physically. If my student is comfortable I love to hear their story. I always give background on myself as well. We will talk about your goals and what exactly you would like to learn on guitar.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years of experience in the field. 6 of those years I have taught and have been Music Director at Veteran's Village of San Diego.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For lessons around the Chula Vista area I charge $35 for a 30min lesson and $50 for an hour lesson. For lessons in the greater area of San Diego I charge $45 for a 30min. lesson and $60 for an hour lesson. I can work on a sliding scale as well. I understand that money can be tight sometimes. I am willing to work with you and your needs.
