Heart & Hustle Lab - Baseball & Softball Development

Hi — my name is Julio. I’ve played baseball for many years at multiple levels, traveled the world through the game, and spent years studying what truly makes players successful both on and off the field.

Baseball and softball are much more than sports. They build discipline, resilience, confidence, and strong habits that carry into life long after the final out. My goal is to develop complete athletes — players who are skilled, strong, mentally tough, and who carry themselves with respect and confidence wherever they go.

Training with me focuses on the entire player. Sessions include hitting development, footwork, agility training, strength and conditioning, and athletic movement — along with the mental side of the game. Great swings are built through repetition, but great players are built between the ears. We work on mindset, preparation, how to approach practice, and how to respond to both success and failure.

In today’s world, athletes face more distractions than ever. Phones, social media, and constant noise can take away from the focus and discipline needed to truly improve. I believe in bringing that focus back. My approach is old school — show up ready to work, respect the game, and give full effort every rep.

I thrive working with athletes who want to improve and are willing to work hard to see results. My goal is not only to develop better players, but to help build responsible, confident, and mature athletes who carry themselves the right way both on and off the field.

I’m also a father of two young daughters, and the same training, discipline, and mindset I teach here are the same principles I will be teaching them as they grow. Kids are like sponges — they absorb habits, discipline, and work ethic early in life. Building that strong foundation now is one of the most important steps in helping them succeed both in sports and in life.

The goal is simple: build athletes who play the game the right way and become great people on and off the field.
