Salvador’s Guitar Lessons
About
My teaching approach: • I develop a unique lesson plan to fit the student's personal goals. • We base the lessons on books like: A Method for guitar (Berkley), Guitar Institute (MI), Solo Guitar Playing (Frederick M. Noad), and many others I have accumulated through the years. • I have an Electric and Acoustic guitar • I have 2 amplifiers ready for students interested in learning electric guitar. • I use Cubase as a recording platform. My influences are: Jimi Hendrix, Jhonny Marr, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Daniel Ash, Pat Metheny, Miles Davis, Chris Manecke. Guitar Techniques: Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Fingerstyle, Performance, Improvisation, Reading Music, Music Theory, Song Writing, Recording and Production Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following: • I first review and correct bad habits that limit their playing ability including: bad body posture, bad hand placement, and identifying tension through out the body. • Continue with Triad chords study • then with a simple song study to take home A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:

The student will decide what studies he/she want to overtake, depending on the students goals. The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following: All students are important and ideal cause they all teach me something different. But if I have to describe an ideal student he/she would be responsible in studying at home at least 1 to 2 hours a day all the lessons we cover in class, and of course he/she would be on time for the class.
Passing the knowledge of music.
