Hello my name is Rick Hernandez (aka) Rich Hernz, I’ve been playing guitar now for about 30 yrs. I have taught a hand full of serious students. I play mostly blues lead guitar at the moment. I’ve been in 3 bands and recorded 1 cd as the bassest in my last band. I have discovered how to apply scales and modes into any blues song in any key and I would like to share my discoveries with thoes willing to put the time in and learn.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typical process and approach to a new student would be to find out the students goals in learning the guitar, once that is established then I will move on to a simple explanation of music theory. Then music chords to play with. I typically will work at the level of the student and build from there.
